SNZweig Privacy Policy
Last Updated: October 6, 2026
SNZweig (“SNZweig,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is the brand name under which SNZweig Advisors LLC and Stambaugh Ness LLC provide professional services. We respect your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through our website, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. SNZweig Advisors LLC and Stambaugh Ness LLC are separate legal entities that operate as an alternative practice structure under a common brand; Stambaugh Ness LLC is a licensed independent CPA firm, and SNZweig Advisors LLC and its subsidiary entities are not licensed CPA firms. For personal information collected through the website and covered by this policy, SNZweig Advisors LLC and Stambaugh Ness LLC act as joint controllers.
SNZweig was formed through the combination of Stambaugh Ness LLC and Zweig Group LLC. Personal information previously collected by those organizations through their websites is now held by SNZweig and is governed by this policy.
1. Scope
This policy covers personal information we collect through www.snzweig.com and legacy web properties, including www.stambaughness.com, www.zweiggroup.com, and www.aecgrowth.com. It does not cover:
- Information we process on behalf of clients under a professional services engagement, which is governed by that engagement’s terms
- Information collected offline, such as at conferences or by phone
- Information collected by third-party sites we link to
If you apply for a job with us, additional disclosures apply. See Section 10.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide. When you subscribe to our newsletter, blog, podcast, or other materials, register for an event, webinar, on-line or on-demand learning, download a resource, content or other material, set up an account, request a proposal, or contact us, we may collect your name, business email address, phone number, mailing address, employer, job title, and any information you include in your message.
Information collected automatically. When you visit our site, we and our analytics and advertising partners automatically collect:
- IP address and approximate location derived from it
- Browser type, device type, and operating system
- Pages viewed, links clicked, time on page, and referring URL
- Cookie and device identifiers
Some of this information is considered personal information under applicable law, even though it does not directly identify you by name.
Information from third parties. We may receive information about you from event co-hosts, marketing platforms, professional networking services, and publicly available business sources, and may combine it with information we already hold.
You are welcome to browse our website without submitting any information to us directly.
3. How we use your information
We use personal information to:
- Respond to your inquiries and service requests
- Send newsletters, blog posts, podcast notice, event invitations, and updates about our services, where you have opted in or where otherwise permitted by law
- Register you for events and deliver requested content
- Set up an account for you
- Operate, secure, and improve our website
- Measure the effectiveness of our marketing and deliver relevant advertising on third-party platforms
- Understand which topics and services are most useful to our audience
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms
Every marketing email we send includes an Unsubscribe link. You may also contact us at the address in Section 13 to be removed.
4. Cookies and tracking technologies
We use cookies, pixels, tags, and similar technologies for site functionality, analytics, and advertising. These include technologies by Google (GA4).
You can manage cookies through your browser settings, though disabling them may limit site functionality. You can also manage advertising cookies through the OneTrust cookie consent.
We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) and similar browser-level opt-out signals via OneTrust.
When you use our site, third parties, including our analytics and advertising partners, may collect information about your online activities over time and across different websites and online services. Because there is no common industry standard for how to respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals, our site does not currently respond to those signals; however, we honor recognized universal opt-out preference signals, including Global Privacy Control, as described above and in Section 6.
5. How we share your information
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it in these circumstances:
Service providers. Vendors who host our site, send our email, run our CRM, process registrations, provide services, such as client portal, payment processing, etc., or provide analytics, under contracts that limit their use of the information.
Advertising partners. We share online identifiers and browsing activity with advertising platforms so we can reach relevant audiences. Under California and several other state privacy laws, this may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can opt out — see Section 6.
Legal and safety. When required by law, subpoena, or regulatory request, or where we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of others.
Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, personal information may be transferred to the successor entity or its advisors, subject to this policy or a successor policy.
Categories of recipients. The categories of third parties to whom we disclose personal information include our service providers and vendors, advertising and analytics partners, event co-hosts, professional advisors, and legal or regulatory authorities. We disclose personal information to service providers only for business purposes and under contracts that limit their use of the information. We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own independent marketing without your consent.
6. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Know what personal information we have collected about you and how we use it
- Request a copy of that information
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your information
- Opt out of the sale or “sharing” of your personal information, and of the use of your personal information for targeted advertising
- Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights
How to exercise these rights. Email info@snzweig.com or submit a request through the Contact form on our website. We will verify your identity before responding and will respond within the time frame required by applicable law, generally 45 days. We will not require you to create an account to submit a request.
How to opt out of sale, sharing, and targeted advertising. You may opt out by using the OneTrust cookie-preferences tool on our website, by adjusting your cookie settings, or by sending a recognized universal opt-out preference signal, such as Global Privacy Control, which we honor as required by law.
Authorized agents. You may designate an agent to submit a request on your behalf, with proof of authorization.
Appeals. If we decline to act on your request, you may appeal by emailing info@snzweig.com with the subject line “Privacy Appeal” within a reasonable time after our decision. We will respond to your appeal within the period required by applicable law and explain our decision. If we deny your appeal, you may contact the attorney general or other appropriate regulator in your state of residence to submit a complaint.
7. Data retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, or as required by law and our professional and regulatory recordkeeping obligations. We determine the appropriate retention period for each category of personal information based on the length of our relationship with you, the purposes for which the information was collected, and our legal, professional, and regulatory recordkeeping obligations, and we do not retain personal information longer than reasonably necessary for the disclosed purposes. Marketing contact information is retained until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, or until 7 years of inactivity.
8. Security
We maintain commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a security incident affecting your personal information occurs, we will notify affected individuals and regulators as and when required by applicable data-breach-notification laws.
9. Children’s privacy
Our website is intended for adults, business audiences and is not directed to children under 16. The site is not intended for individuals under 18, and they should not use the site or submit personal information through it. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Job applicants
If you apply for a position with us, we collect the information in your application, resume, and any materials you submit, and use it to evaluate your candidacy and comply with employment laws.
11. Third-party links
Our site links to third-party websites and platforms. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Review their policies before providing information.
12. Visitors outside the United States
We are based in the United States and process information here. If you access our site from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S., which may have different data protection laws than your home country.
